This is supposed to be a project to hone my visual storytelling skills, music skills and cinematography skills. The idea is to write poems and shoot videos that encompass what is being said, while also having a soundtrack created by me. I was originally thinking about doing very short videos, less than 4 minutes. Themes are open for definition.

[Done] The first one I did, without much planning, I just filmed some test scenes with the drone while walking on the slackline. I am satisfied with the result; I edited it directly on the phone, but this part proved to be the most time-consuming. These impromptu videos are honestly the most fun. The poem/text was also written at the moment, as I did with the Sand Ship Wreck. This is a challenging way to do things. The only part that bothers me a bit is the format of sharing. I don’t know if Instagram stories are the best option, it’s a bit complicated to say, I’m not sure what bothers me, but I think it would have been better to post it directly on my profile. The one-minute limit is a double-edged sword. Reels are better, but I don’t want very long content either, I think a maximum of 2min30. For the next one, I will use it and compare. Besides that, I need to think about where to store these videos; for now, I’ll back them up on my laptop, even though I’m editing on the phone.
