I remember as a child the first time I removed my own baby tooth (molar?). My mother had already removed at least three or four using various methods. The one I thought was the coolest, because of its simplicity, was just to take toilet paper, fold it over the tooth, and pull it out. That’s exactly what I did. One night I went to the bathroom alone and pulled out the tooth. I’m not exactly sure why I decided to do it by myself, but I believe it was one of the first events that marked my urge for independence. Or maybe I just wanted to prove the existence of the tooth fairy? Haha, I’ll never know, but both are quite plausible.
