Goal
Aspiring Research Scientist | Computer Scientist | ML Engineer
Master’s degree in Computer Science with over five years of experience in scientific research, leadership, and project management. I’m on a quest to become a Research Scientist—ideally one who doesn’t just read about Artificial Intelligence and Neuromorphic Systems but contributes to the next big breakthrough (the world always needs more of those). Always looking for opportunities to push the boundaries of what AI can do and perhaps induce a few existential crises on myself along the way.
Professional Experience
WINNING RESEARCH ASSISTANT
[2021 - 2025]
Embedded Computer Laboratory @ UFSCHandpicked by Professor Cristina Meinhardt to join the prestigious scientific initiation program in the Embedded Computer Laboratory. My mission: use machine learning to predict the behavior of electrical circuits. Along the way, I managed to snag many prizes, indications and awards. Published on ICECS, SBCCI, CASSW and CoTB.
MOBILE & WEB DEVELOPMENT INTERN
[2024 - 2025]
R3izzyDeveloped Android/iOS apps with Flutter, optimizing performance and adding features, resulting in improved stability. Built responsive web interfaces with React and Python and integrated with Firebase. Implemented new SaaS features using Scrum/Kanban, reducing bugs and improving UX. Conducted testing and implemented crash reporting, enhancing software reliability. Contributed to process documentation and streamlined operations, speeding up onboarding and customer service. Created technical documentation and an internal knowledge base for easier maintenance. Contributed ideas for future projects.
COMPUTER VISION RESEARCH INTERN
[2022 - 2023]
PIX FORCEEnhanced state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms (YOLOv5) to monitor soccer match statistics. Also contributed to three separate R&D projects for major oil and energy companies, proving that computer vision isn’t just for sports fans and cat videos.
WINNING JUNIOR RESEARCHER
[2017 - 2019]
UniCeubCreated a board game designed to simulate urban mobility (because who said transportation systems can’t be fun?). Tested it with a group of six students to see how they navigated the chaos of city transport. The project earned the “Best Junior Project” award at two congresses (UNB and UniCEUB), and I got a shiny R400)—but the best part was probably that the game was a success.

This work proposes a machine learning approach for cell characterization of logic gates.
This research explores machine learning regression algorithms as an alternative to exhaustive electrical simulations for characterizing CMOS circuits. Using multiple models, including decision trees and random forests, it predicts energy values and propagation times for NAND2 and NOT gates. The decision tree model demonstrated the best performance, balancing accuracy and inference speed.
This work evaluates machine learning regression algorithms as an alternative to exhaustive electrical simulations for CMOS inverter characterization. Energy values and propagation times were predicted using multiple models, with Random Forest achieving the highest accuracy (R² > 98%). The results highlight its effectiveness in reducing characterization time while maintaining precision.
This research developed a board game to teach young students about urban mobility in Brasília, fostering critical thinking on transport choices and socioeconomic impacts. Through focus groups and game design workshops, participants actively shaped the game, demonstrating engagement and awareness of mobility issues. The study highlights how gamification enhances learning, making complex urban challenges more accessible and encouraging conscious transport decisions.

Community Engagement
Sheet Music Transcriber
[2023 - today]
MuseScoreGot fed up with the lack of freely available sheet music for the songs I love, so I took matters into my own hands. Downloaded MuseScore and started transcribing—because indie music isn’t exactly known for being jam-friendly at a moment’s notice.

Clubs and Events Organization
Grêmio Estudantil
[2008-2018]
Colégio La Salle Águas Claras, Colégio SeriösRepresented my peers and debated their interests with the principal—because someone had to stand between students and the school’s pet policies. Organized meetings, planned class schedules, and served as class representative for 2nd, 5th, 6th, and 9th grades. Also held the title of Vice Representative for 4th and 8th grades, and proudly served as Class Valedictorian for 9th grade (2015). During high school, earned a spot in the top 1% of students in the 12th grade, ultimately becoming Valedictorian again. Multi-tasking? Just part of the student leader job description.
Secretary of Technology and Systems
